Englewood Hospital

I gave a birth there in Jun 1/2025, it was the greatest experience ever, all the nurses are so nice and helpful, they always smile no matter what and always ready to answer all the questions, the hospital is very clean, I had everything I need in my room. I really appreciate all the doctors and nurses in the hospital specially Dr moon and Dr Miceli. Love you guys

My review is based on an emergency department visit. My fiancé and I arrived and only waited maybe 10 minutes. Once in an ER room, I was sent for an ultrasound. My transport person there and the tech as well were wonderful. The transport who brought me back, Michael, made my day so much better. We had a lot in common in general but in certain personal life events, it was almost an omen that we met at that exact moment for a very clear reason. He kept me at ease, he was funny, relatable, easy to talk to and an overall joy. Glad the stars aligned that night for to have had the pleasure of meeting him.

Wonderful labor and delivery experience!! As a black woman the statistics for childbirth and labor are already quite alarming—so trust is essential and the nurses and doctors here were absolutely wonderful! Nurse Halley was literally god sent! She made me feel so safe and truly took care of me during my most vulnerable time! Nurse Vanessa was also amazing and was there whenever I needed with a smile. They tried every method to avoid a c-section after induction (which we did!) and I am truly grateful!!! I could not be more pleased with this department and its wonderful, beautiful nurses! The food service staff came in daily and took all food orders for the day—for me AND MY MOM! I cant believe how kind they were to us! The lactation specialist was extremely helpful and meticulous. I am forever grateful for her and the nurses here. I cannot recommend them enough!

This hospital is filled with good vibes. That is because of the people who work here. The patient services greet you well!! The medical staff treat you well!! Nice and friendly environment to be in if you are a patient. Calms your nerves. Convenient parking lot and garage. Free Valet service at all entries. Excellent cafeteria if you are there for a long day and want to grab a bite.

Englewood Hospital is truly one of the very best in the area. Mostly of the staff is very caring, physicians and nurses, and people that really wanna make sure you have the best possible experience. The only reason this is a four star and not a five star review is Jessica Lyons in the kitchen (who I would give a 1 start review, and less if possible). For medical reasons, I am on an organic diet and the lovely people in the kitchen over the weekend were kind enough to accommodate my request for an organic meal. Interestingly, the kitchen has special menu for both Korean meals, as well as kosher foods, but unfortunately makes no provision for people who are eating organic for health reasons. Today I was served two identical meals for lunch and dinner, two vegetables and a starch that were for the most part inedible. If I knew they were intending to give me the same identical meal for lunch and dinner, I would’ve been able to at least call out for an order and have something delivered, but I didn’t find out till nearly 630 that they were not going to help me and gave me a tray that was pretty much inedible. Given the caliber of this hospital, I expect way better than that. I cannot understand how their kitchen has a special menu for both Korean meals and kosher meals, and does not offer organic options. I think it’s a huge miss, and that the kitchen couldn’t provide the small courtesy of letting me know that dinner was a repeat of the terrible lunch they served us very disappointing.

While I was on vacation, I went through a bad experience and ended up in the ICU. In my desperate time of need, Englewood Hospital provided top notch hospitality. The facility is newly renovated and spotless. Visitors and myself praised the unit I stayed in. We constantly expressed how it was better than a five star hotel. Nonni and Eric were my nurses at the ICU. Each nurtured and tended my ailments. They never complained despite their night shifts and long hours. When I moved to the floor, Englewood Hospital offered a room with a private bathroom. Nelli, Charmagne, Hadi, a young, beautiful, female nurse (whose name I cannot remember), Dr. Yelena, and Dr. Scott made my admittance one to remember. Nelli kept me entertained and made me feel at home. We spoke about our family and he reminded me once more of how loved I am by my father. I am eternally grateful for the experience at Englewood Hospital. Thank you and may many blessings find this place.

Ruptured my Achilles and went to ER at Englewood and then had surgery there within 24 hours. The podiatry team and ER team were great. Very attentive, caring, professional and knowledgeable. I had as pleasant an experience as I possibly could have had given the circumstances. Surgery was successful and I’m now in the post op rehab portion and recovery is coming along well.

I delivered my child here and was met with the very best care. The doctors took excellent care of me and the NICU staff for our child were also top of the line. Every staff I encountered was so compassionate and caring. Will definitely deliver here again. Thank you so much.
